The Bullet Breath is a modified Tummo Breathing exercise that starts off with deep slow breathing, and speeds up every round of breathing until you engage with rapid breathing. Once the rapid breathing concludes, you will be guided into a 1-minute breath hold.
This dynamic is repeated for three rounds and flows into a five minute silent meditation. It’s a perfect exercise for daily breathwork practice and is recommended to be used in the morning or in the afternoon.

The Bullet Breath Technique is straightforward. You’ll begin the practice with an 8-second inhalation, followed by an 8-second exhalation. The following breath will decrease the time by 1-second. In other words, the second round of breathing has a 7-second inhalation and a 7-second exhalation. We continue this process until we reach 2-second inhalation/2-second exhalation which we sustain for 9 rounds. The final four rounds of breathing concludes with 1-second inhalation/1-second exhalation and immediately goes into a breath hold.
